    • VirtuGrid supplies and installs a home backup battery at no upfront cost. We own it, monitor it, and maintain it for the life of the program.

    • While your home is connected to the grid, your battery works alongside thousands of others to support it — that's the revenue that funds your free battery and your lower rate.

  • You never go dark

    • The instant the grid drops, your battery flips to powering your home, automatically. The outage everyone else feels never reaches you.

Electricity is supplied by a licensed retail electric provider. The battery is provided at no upfront cost as part of a multi-year program agreement; terms, rates, savings, equipment, and availability vary by market and are subject to the program contract.
